it's confirmed!!
the chalet will be 26th-27th sept check in time is 2.30pm but it says on the website early check in is welcome... basically shud be can go in by 11 cos check out time is 10.30 and the day we go prob got no pre-occupant =)

so we meet late morning at 11am check in and nua den can have picnic lunch and play some beach games... aim to be done by evening for bbq... kenny and i suggests ordering from bbqwholesale.com they have very nice chicken wings =)

(belated) photos from smrt challenge



















we begin munching on the tub of sandwiches... even before the race started! and it was easily depleted by 1pm :/ super shag!

2 of our 8 clues.. that's the logo for dhoby ghaut exchange and raffles place exchange. honestly, i've never noticed it before! the second is newater visitor centre (like who will want to visit newater. duh.)

sidetrack: there's really nothing at the newater visitor centre. so, our challenge there was to get on to a taxi, tell the taxi driver (the station master actually) a place (any place),
and
dat's the end of the challenge. we were waiting for some more so we stayed on the cab. until we were kindly told that we can get out of the cab allady. yes, i hear huh??!

back to the photos
that's doraemon breezing thru the cones. it's also our last station at orchard skate park :) doraemon is also the one who conquered the rock walls at keppel tower, kiap a tennis ball with my head-to-head and walked for 10m without dropping it.

that's the photo which irked me so much i can't help taking a photo of it. it was allady after the whole challenge. my and i were on our way to marina square k... and we were walking along citylink... and this poster tells me to "just feel better". good morning.



















on a lighter note...
after the very kind xiao mei meis from scgs told us about merit points.. we begin to
1. stand behind yellow lines
2. give up seats to the elderly (i tink that old lady is super sporting)
3. hold on to the handrail
4. that's only about half of our merit points... we whacked more at the later part of the day but i tink we were chionging so hard we din haf time to take any more photos heh 

yh my and i went to catch england vs paraguay match at bugis in early june and we were on the newspaper! a very small part actually... but i'm very sure it's us! cos yh and my both wore brown stripes that night.. unmistakable :)

lesson learnt: go earlier next time and get front seats! =p 

boating!!!
after talks to go phuket kelong (which did not materialize :/) i'm so glad we went boating!!!
and it's all five of us plus great friends :)

it was really great and absolutely liberating to be out in the open sea... letting the wind blow against the face... looking around to see only sky, sea and great friends... woahs. i tink we shud add a new grid to cashflow: a dream to grow old with friends. but it's priceless hor? can't put a value or price tag to that. ok, i'd stick to buying an island and inviting friends and their families over. btw, my, rem if u get ur dream for the mediterranean cruise, must put us in the list of 12 friends!

i've got 155 photos in my camera. just finish the transfer. will pick the nicer ones to send to you peeps and load onto the blog! :)
and i'm gonna figure out how to use you tube and load the video of the fish struggling after we caught it. haha.

brain's 20th bday!!

yupz lame bodee celebrated my 20th birthday at Swensens (Crown Prince) on 29th june!!! =) it was really really sweet, especially when i was feeling super disorientated after just returning to singapore after the long german immersion trip a few days before... so great to see everyone again! really missed everyone, man... =P

after eating our ice creams and photo-taking and present-presentation ceremony (there's my bootiful new white bag!), we even went to Lucky Plaza to play pool... woah, dun see ji sheng chong lidat only, you should see him at the pool table... he's formidable haha... =P face also not bad... poky also... aiyah, basically, think everyone was better than me jiu4 shi4 liao3... it was really fun!

anywayz can compare this photo to the caricature on the top right of our blog then heez... i'm in yellow with lan duo chong in white in front; the guys behind from left to right: poky, ji sheng chong and face... =) still not very sure y i'm called brain tho... i'm not particularly brainy loh... =P super lousy memory anyway haha... but it's kinda stuck with me, so yes, brain's signing off now... if wanna see more photos, go to http://www.zorpia.com/cgi/album.cgi?561899... can't wait to see everyone at the boating trip!! =)
